This week, we put up signs in the windows so that passers by can tell exactly what's going on inside. Our own Deb made the lettering, and we noticed increased traffic right away. Come see for yourself!

off to Italy!

Angelo is on his way to the SIGEP gelato trade show in Rimini, Italy. He'll spend a few days learning about the latest techniques, ingredients, and news in the world of gelato. Check back for his review of the show, for pictures, and for what'll be new in our store!

We've got another wholesale location! KnowFat Lifestyle Grill in Bedford is now carrying Angelato, in single servings. Visit them at 374 Great Road in Bedford. This is also the first location to carry a branded freezer and to display our new logo. Check it out.

a new delivery route...?

This was probably a one time thing. Cassie climbed Mt. Monadnock on Friday with the kids from her school. I couldn't send her up with stale peanut butter and jelly or trail mix; as she's been spoiled rotten on the food from our shop. She trekked up the mountain with special ordered Angelato sandwiches for the faculty chaperones (these guys don't really know how to rough it!). An 80 degree day in September and great scenic views might be just the motivation we need to figure out how to get gelato up on the mountain top. Stay tuned...

Angelato goes to Concord

We were so pleased to visit our newest customer this week. Farfalle Italian Market opened its doors in Concord this June, and they've added your favorite gelato to their menu offerings. Check them out at www.farfalleitalianmarket.com

They've got a great selection of Italian wines as well as fine grocery items and prepared foods.

Cinammmmmmmmmmon!

Our friend Kristin lives in Barcelona and visited us this summer. Of course this brought back memories of the European lifestyle and reminded us why we fell in love with gelato in the first place. Kristin said her current favorite flavor is cinnamon; we had to try it!

This morning, Angelo was up with the sun and raced to the shop before it opened. With a gourmet spice in hand, he set to create this continent's finest cinnamon flavored gelato. By noon, he had perfected the recipe and brought it home. It was delicious!! We've added it to the fall lineup and hope you'll stop by to give it a taste.

(editor's note: I went for the trifecta -three scoops of gelato: cinnamon, vanilla, and chocolate. Need I say more?)
